Berthon USA specializes in the sale of yachts of superior construction and reputation, both Sail & Power. As the US Office of BERTHON INTERNATIONAL, our capability to serve our clients in the international and larger yacht markets has been further enhanced. Berthon USA is the East Coast, USA Agent for NAJAD Yachts of Sweden. The outstanding NAJAD Yachts product line offers to the discerning client a range of modern design, high quality, performance-oriented sailing yachts from 33 to 57 feet that are available in both center- and aft-cockpit configurations.

We also represent RUSTLER Yachts of England for the United States and Canada. These fine yachts include the RUSTLER models from 24'(daysailer)to the brand new 33' (daysailer) to the 44' Deck Saloon cruising boat. If you are looking for an example of one of the best classic cruising yachts you can buy, well, there is no need to look further as you shall see!

The RUSTLER Yachts series starts at 24 feet with the gorgeous looking classic daysailer, based on a 1960's 6-meter design, then the Holman & Pye designed RUSTLER 36, an evergreen long keel cruiser that has been in continuous production for 25 years! The RUSTLER range continues with the highly regarded Stephen Jones designed "42" and the new model "44" with a raised saloon.

In October of 2011, BERTHON USA was appointed as the US agent for Moody Yachts. These new Moody designs by Bill Dixon are fast, comfortable cruising yachts, with all the modern features. What is incredible to sail are the new deck salon versions, with tons of storage and above deck living, a feature sought after by those planning a long distance adventure or simply a full time liveboard situation. The deck salons are available in 45' or 62', with the aft cockpit classic designs at 41' and 45'. Presenting brokerage sailing yachts of Scandinavian manufacture is a major specialty for us. We have found that such exemplary quality never really goes out of style and it is good business for all concerned! Notable examples include NAJAD’s as well as BALTIC’s, SWEDEN’s, JONMERI’s and, of course, our House Specialty of brokerage SWAN’s.

Berthon USA is also pleased to offer brokerage power yachts. Such selections are typified by the classic Down East-style fast day boat & cruisers as well as the trawlers & motoryachts. As our sailing clients already know, all of these selected offerings continue to be in great demand for those who desire the best that such quality yachts can offer.

Our sales crew is comprised of Jennifer Stewart, Alan Baines, and Randy Altemus. Jennifer has over 30 years of experience in new & brokerage yacht sales that includes being a designated Nautor’s SWAN Agent. Alan has over 20 years of experience selling both new build and brokerage yachts, a further 5 in managing marina and boatyard service operations and holds degrees in nautical science, yacht management as well as a Second Officer’s Certificate for ships of unlimited tonnage. Randy has over 35 years of experience in the sail & power brokerage and new yacht construction venues for some of the best names in the business. Accordingly, we are well-known for our expertise in managing both domestic as well as overseas transactions and their demanding details of pre-purchase inspection & survey, ownership transfer and yacht transport & delivery considerations.
